Body Worlds, one of the most important exhibitions in the world with over 40 millions of visitors, allows a direct view of the human body to learn and understand the functions of its vital organs.
Through the studies of Gunther von Hangens, it has been possible to preserve perfectly tissues and human organs.
Body Worlds is the only scientific exhibitions that allows visitors to get information on the anatomy, physiology and health through observation of real human bodies and anatomical specimens, all preserved with the technique of plastination, a process discovered by Gunther von Hagens.
The physiological functions and diseases are explained in an understandable way at all, even by a comparison between healthy bodies and diseased organs to understand the functioning of the human body, showing the effects of ilness and incorrect lifestyle
The exhibition Body Worlds is in Rome from October 16, 2014 until February 15, 2015, at SET Space Events Tirso, in Via Tirso 14 (Zone Salaria – Via Regina Margherita).
