How to find the lowest price for your stay in Rome

The information that no host will give to you about the high and the low season

Let’s face it: Rome is a city quite expensive for a vacation, but you can save money by choosing to live your vacation in right dates.
During low season it is possible to find the prices very reasonable, especially if you choose a central accommodation, a few steps from the most famous squares you can live a Roman holiday in excellent location saving more than 30%.

Despite the good connections (metro, bus, etc., having the luxury of leaving like at “home” reaching the Spanish Steps in 10 minutes walk, will make your holiday “really Roman” and will allow you truly enjoy all the ‘atmosphere of the old town.

So, what is the best period to find the lowest prices of B&B and home holiday in Rome?

November, January (after holidays), February and August are the months in which it’s possibel to find the lowest rates of the year.
I personally recommend you take advantage of the months of November and January if you come to visit the city.
In fact, Rome has a very mild climate, never is cold, winter is nice, the city is in the midst of its cultural and artistic activity and on November, often in the first weeks still there is the the mild climate of the October.
Then you can take advantage of a rainy day visiting one of the many exhibitions that Rome offers.
Book with enough advance will also allow you to find rates cheaper, also for trains and planes, making more and more substantial your savings.

The B&B and Guesthouse we advise for location and comfort are the Poppy House, Ultimo Piano, Margutta’s garden and  Roma Capoccia

I just have to wish you bon voyage! Rome awaits you!
