From July, 2 to September 6, 2015 open the doors of Castel Sant’Angelo for summer evenings with live concerts and guided tours.
On the occasion of the ninetieth anniversary of the institution of the National Museum of Castel Sant’Angelo, a full program of evening events will lead visitors on a journey through art, theater, music, culture and sport, enhancing every aspect of the history of the monument.
The evening opening of the National Museum of Castel Sant’Angelo, is a strength of the Roman summer, which has a growing public consensus.
Will be exceptionally open to the public the Passetto di Borgo, a long and fascinating journey on foot for about 800 m that connects the Castle to the Vatican Palace, built on the walls that surrounded the Vatican City;
In addition to tours there is a full calendar of special events that will feature the “Summer Nights at Castel Sant’Angelo” with names of international music theater, literature and sport.
