The Art of Brick, extraordinary LEGO sculptures on display in Rome

At Spazio Eventi SET until 14 February 2015 will be exhibited 85 wonderful and unique sculptures made by the lawyer Nathan Sawaya with over a million LEGO bricks.
The exhibition is called “The Art of Brick” and has been valued one of the best contemporary exhibitions from the international press and was included in the top ten of those  not to be missed.
Nathan Sawaya is a New York artist who creates massive sculptures out of the ordinary using LEGO bricks and was the first artist who used them in the art world, creating a new dimension and combining Pop Art and the Surrealism, playing with colors, movement, light and perspective.

His traveling exhibition broke all attendance records in cities around the world where it was on display.
The characters and objects created by Sawaya are amazing and leave visitors speechless.
Some of the works of art that the visitors have the opportunity to see close up include the iconic “Yellow“, a life-size sculpture of a man who opens the chest cavity and  which leave thousands of LEGO bricks yellow like the sun, the skeleton of a dinosaur T-Rex 7 meters long, a giant skull made of LEGO.

A show that is worth seeing for its originality and that will capture the interest of young and old, and not only of fans and collectors of LEGO
